TITLE: Buffet & Banquet Cook 3

REPORTS TO: Directly: Buffet & Banquet Lead Cook/ Commissary Lead Supervisor Indirectly: Executive Chef Assistant SUPERVISES: None
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS PROFILE: Experience in full service restaurant. Experience with buffet food and banquets preferred but not necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Maintain adequate quantities of food in buffet for guests. 2. Able to run salad station and begin to learn additional buffet stations. 3. Maintain sanitary and clean appearance of server area. 4. Assist in cleaning of kitchen area. 5. Assist in cleaning of server area. 6. Responsible for carving station and dessert station. 7. Maintain adequate level of clean plates for guests. 8. Take direction from the Buffet & Banquet Lead Cook. 9. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 10. Regular attendance necessary. 11. Regular punctuality necessary. 12. Available and willing to work any changes in hours on the schedule at any time during employment.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTRIBUTES: 1. Basic knife skills. 2. Good working knowledge of sanitary practices. Able to work efficiently with little or no supervision.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Able to lift 50 lbs frequently. 2. Handle stressful situations. 3. Able to stand for long periods of time. 4. Able to tolerate heat. 5. Good coordination.
