TITLE: Seasons Buffet and Banquet Lead Cook

QUALIFIES FOR JOB-SPECIFIC INCENTIVE PROGRAM: BONUS PAY after 30 days=$25, 90 days=$50, and 180 days=$75

DEPARTMENT: Kitchen / Food and Beverage

REPORTS TO: Banquet Sous Chef/Executive Chef

SUPERVISES: Kitchen Buffet and Banquet Staff

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS PROFILE: Experience with buffet food and banquets cooking.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Competent at all stations of the buffet. 2. Able and willing to work any and all stations in the buffet (front and back of the house). 3. Takes responsibility for all food produced by the buffet and banquet kitchen. 4. Trains all new cooks at any and all stations as needed. 5. Preparation of food for banquet menus. 6. Banquet food plating and presentation. 7. Take direction from the Buffet and Banquet Chef and the Executive Chef. 8. Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen. 9. Will assume a leadership role in the kitchen. 10. Will keep all Buffet and Banquet staff motivated and busy. 11. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 12. Regular attendance necessary. 13. Regular punctuality necessary. 14. Available and willing to work any changes in hours on the schedule at anytime during employment.

Strong culinary knowledge. 7. Strong skill levels at all cooking stations and knife handling. 8. Good teaching skills. 9. Excellent knowledge and usage of sanitation practices.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Handle stressful situations. 2. Able to stand for long periods of time. 3. Able to tolerate heat. 4. Good coordination.
