TITLE: Buffet Waitstaff
DEPARTMENT: Seasons Buffet / Food & Beverage
REPORTS TO: Buffet Manager / Supervisor
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS PROFILE: Previous experience is helpful, but not necessary. Excellent customer service and guest relations are required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Waits on customers; must be attentive, knowledgeable and sensitive to the individual customer needs. 2. Able to take care of their station. 3. Clear tables and reset them. 4. Checks china, glass and flatware, making sure that is matching and free of spots. 5. Knows the menu on the Buffet. 6. Assists in Banquets. 7. Housekeeping duties: Stocks and keeps station clean, empties garbage, keeps bussing area clean, clears debris off plates, brings dishes and silverware to the dishwasher and empties them in the proper area. 8. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 9. Regular attendance necessary. 10. Regular punctuality necessary. 11. Available and willing to work any changes in hours on the schedule at anytime during employment.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Presents oneself as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and encourages others to do so also.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTRIBUTES: 1. Must be well groomed. 2. Friendly. 3. Dependable. 4. Self-motivated.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Normal mobility throughout the facility. 2. Ability to be on their feet for 8 hours or more. 3. Ability to lift and carry 10 - 20 lbs.
