TITLE: Beverage Server

DEPARTMENT: Bar / Food and Beverage

REPORTS TO: Food and Beverage Director, Beverage Manager, Beverage Supervisor

SUPERVISES: None

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS PROFILE: Some serving experience in liquor service is preferred. Strong ability in salesmanship with a mathematical aptitude. Ability to relate well with the customers; excellent customer service skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Provides prompt and courteous service to customers. 2. Removes empty beverage containers from gaming areas. 3. Follows all procedures pertaining to responsible liquor service (checking I.D., refusing service to intoxicated patrons). 4. Stocking supplies at stations. 5. Keeps all work areas (coffee, wait stations) neat and clean. 6. Sets up beverages in dressing room areas for entertainers. 7. Responsible for maintaining any and all paperwork, audit sheets, close-outs, opening reports and other tallies as required. 8. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 9. Regular attendance necessary. 10. Regular punctuality necessary. 11. Available and willing to work any changes in hours on the schedule at anytime during employment.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Present oneself as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and encourage others to do so also.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTRIBUTES: 1. Good knowledge of liquor service. 2. Pleasant attitude toward customers. 3. Ability to handle money. 4. Strong communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Able to carry up to 15 lbs. on a repetitive basis. 2. Normal mobility throughout the facility. 3. Extensive walking. 4. Bending and stooping repeatedly.
