TITLE: Cart and Range Outside Service Staff

REPORTS TO: Cart and Range Service Supervisors


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Basic knowledge of golf, golf carts and outside service operations a plus. Must meet departmental golf cart operational policy. Friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with people in a fast paced environment. Committed to providing the highest level of customer service and attention. Must have a valid Minnesota Driver’s License.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Greet all guests in a friendly, courteous manner. 2. Spread hospitality and goodwill among all guests and promote Dacotah Ridge Golf Club. 3. Manage the golf cart fleet including: daily cleaning, re-charging, cart staging and routine maintenance. 4. Assist all guests in areas of responsibility including: handling bags, loading clubs onto carts, cleaning clubs and being attentive to the guests needs before and after their round of golf. 5. Responsible for overseeing the Driving Range including: maintaining an adequate supply of clean range balls, daily range set-up and break-down, monitoring Range usage, picking range balls and adhering to a set range rotation schedule. 6. Keep outside area and cart facility neat and clean at all times. 7. Assist professional staff with tournament preparation, administration and Golf Shop operations when requested. 8. Monitor weather conditions and assist guests with seeking shelter when weather conditions dictate a suspension of play. 9. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 10. Regular attendance necessary. 11. Regular punctuality necessary. 12. Available and willing to work any changes in hours on the schedule at anytime during employment.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Present oneself as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and encourage others to do so also.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTRIBUTES: 1. Knowledge of golf operations. 2. Customer service skills. 3. Knowledge of golf equipment. 4. People skills. 5. Must be flexible to work nights and weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Normal mobility throughout the facility. 2. Extensive walking. 3. Bending and stooping repeatedly. 4. Extensive lifting and carrying of golf bags.
