TITLE: Housekeeping Employee
DEPARTMENT: Housekeeping / Property
REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Manager / Housekeeping Shift Leader SUPERVISES: None
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS PROFILE: General housekeeping and maintenance duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Vacuums, empties and cleans all trash containers as needed. 2. Cleans bathrooms, replenishes paper products. 3. Sweeps sidewalks and shovels snow. 4. Picks up garbage in and outside building and parking lot. 5. Washes all windows on regular basis. 6. Collects all recyclable material and stores in proper place. 7. Shampoo carpets and chairs as needed. 8. Loads and unloads freight and delivers to proper department. 9. Replaces light bulbs and cleans air vents. 10. Cleans all areas of the Casino, Bingo Hall, Entertainment Center, Band House, Buffet and Offices. 11. Cleans all areas of the parking lot, RV Park, including bath house and restrooms. 12. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 13. Regular attendance necessary. 14. Regular punctuality necessary. 15. Available and willing to work any changes in hours on the schedule at anytime during employment.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Presents oneself as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and encourages others to do so also.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTRIBUTES: 1. Able to work with and without supervision. 2. Able to work in large crowds. 3. A team player, always neat and courteous. 4. Takes pride in work and responsibilities. 5. Able to handle emergency spills and accidents. 6. Uses good judgment. 7. Communication skills with public and fellow employees. 8. Reliable worker, work all scheduled days and hours.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Able to lift up to 40 lbs. 2. Able to work with soap and other cleaning chemicals. 3. Able to climb stairs and use ladders, bend and twist.
