TITLE: Kitchen Utility

DEPARTMENT: Kitchen/Food and Beverage

REPORTS TO: Food and Beverage Director, Managers for-Dacotah Restaurant, Seasons Buffet, Banquets, and Associates Dining Room



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Performs various cleaning tasks: a) Wash dishes using dishwasher. b) Wash pots and pans in three-compartment sink. c) Take out garbage. d) Crush boxes. e) Clean walls. f) Clean bathroom. g) Sweep and mop floors. h) Clean concrete slabs (dumpster and receiving). 2. Sort silverware. 3. Keep shelves (utensils and vats, etc.) organized. 4. Assist in food preparation when required. 5. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 6. Regular punctuality necessary. 7. Regular attendance necessary. 8. Available and willing to work any changes in hours on the schedule at anytime during employment.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Presents oneself as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and encourages others to do so also.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTRIBUTES: 1. Highly motivated. 2. Good team player. 3. Independent worker. 4. Well groomed. 5. Able to follow directions. 6. Adhere to sanitation and safety policies.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Able to lift 50lbs frequently. 2. Stand for long periods of time. 3. Frequent twisting and bending. 4. Tolerate heat and humidity. 5. Ability to handle stressful situations.
