TITLE: Reward Club Host

REPORTS TO: Directly: Casino Host Supervisor Indirectly: Rewards Club Manager/Asst. Manager/Supervisor
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS PROFILE: Minimum 5 years experience in Casino operations. Player development preferred but not required. Needs High School Diploma or GED. Prefer Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience. Basic computer skills, excellent verbal and written skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information. Tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff. Ability to speak to groups, including acting in a role as Master of Ceremonies for events, parties, and tournaments. Must be able to work any shift. E
SSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Manage player accounts and comps based on recorded play, earned points, comp availability and patron profitability. 2. Responsible for all Player Comping. 3. Stays informed of all special events and promotions. 4. Utilizes Hot Player and Active Monitor to recognize premium / mid-level guests. 5. Compensate premium / mid-level guests accordingly. 6. Sells and promotes the Express Club and casino through daily contact with VIP guests. 7. Utilize the security monitor to identify misused cards. 8. Enrollment of guests into the Express Club. 9. Assist guests and identify situations that may need a supervisor's assistance. 10. Telemarketing and follow-up calls. 11. Responsible to complete the daily hostess report. 12. Personal "one-on-one" contact with VIP guests. 13. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 14. Regular attendance necessary. 15. Regular punctuality necessary. 16. Available and willing to work any changes in hours on the schedule at anytime during employment.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Presents oneself as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and encourages others to do so also.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTRIBUTES: 1. Computer literate. 2. High initiative, positive attitude. Good communication and telephone skills. Basic Windows application and use of mouse. 5. Public relation skills, professional appearance. 6. Able to work independently.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Normal mobility throughout the casino. 2. Oral communication.
