TITLE: Wabasha Creek Bartender

DEPARTMENT: Jackpot Junction Food and Beverage

REPORTS TO: Wabasha Creek Restaurant Supervisor

SUPERVISES: None

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS PROFILE: Must have previous bartending experience. Excellent customer service skills a must. Must be 18 years of age.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Provide prompt service to servers and customers in a courteous manner. 2. Make sure all bars are stocked with adequate amounts of beer, liquor, juices, etc. 3. Keep work area, liquor room and beer cooler neat and organized. 4. Keep work area adequately stocked. 5. Provide information to customers in a courteous manner. 6. Inform manager of any breakdown or malfunction of equipment. 7. Follow policies and procedures pertaining to bookwork and money handling. 8. Monitor liquor system as to refilling empty bottles. 9. Preparation of service (cut fruit, dishwashing, etc.). 10. Clean up and close down of the bar (mopping, etc.). 11. Follows all procedures pertaining to responsible liquor service. 12 Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 13. Regular attendance necessary. 14. Regular punctuality necessary. 15. Available and willing to work any changes in hours on the schedule at anytime during employment.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Present oneself as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and Dacotah Ridge Golf Course and encourage others to do so also.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTRIBUTES: 1. Ability to take the initiative and work unsupervised. 2. Product knowledge helpful. 3. Courteous, pleasant personality. 4. Good knowledge of liquor service technique. 5. Ability to maintain composure in a hectic situation. 6. Cash handling.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Able to carry heavy liquor bottles and cases of beer. 2. Standing for long periods.
